ABOUT ME
Suzie O'Hagan, M.S., CCC-SLP
Suzie is an experienced speech-language pathologist and owner-manager of Specialty Speech Therapy. She earned her Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Illinois State University, received her accreditation by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and since then has worked in a variety of settings.
​
She served as the lead speech therapist of a 400 bed VA nursing home for veterans with complex medical needs for several years. She also thrived treating post-stroke, brain tumor and TBI patients in the intense surroundings of the ICU ward of a major California hospital.
​
Today, she provides contract speech therapy services to meet the needs of schools in several states. She serves many public and charter schools with teletherapy, covering K-12 students and their various needs with care and attention.

OUR APPROACH
Personal, Flexible, Professional
Suzie saw a need for local, therapist-owned speech services in schools that don't overwhelm with complex billing and scheduling practices, and at reasonable rates. She decided to pursue a simple solution with a personal touch, hand-picking a team of key therapists to complement this busy school setting.

Our therapists are all licensed and ASHA-certified and have extensive school and teletherapy experience. Each therapist is matched to the unique needs of each school, and they in turn create custom materials to treat the varying needs of each student.

We have our own evaluation and treatment materials, we perform all coordination and invoicing in-house, and we are flexible to the needs and schedules of each school.
